Dear colleagues,
As we draw closer to the end of 2025, we should all take
great pride in what we have achieved. I would like to recognise and
celebrate our work with our students, each other and our partners to truly
transform lives and enhance communities. It is my honour to share with you the winners of the:
·
2025 Vice-Chancellor Awards for Learning and
Teaching winners
·
2025 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence
winners and commendation recipients.
The prestigious Vice Chancellor Awards for Learning and
Teaching recognise excellence in student learning across all areas of the
university. Citations are awarded to staff who have made significant
contributions to student learning, student engagement and/or the overall
student experience in a specific area of responsibility over a sustained
period. Successful citation applications must reach high evidence thresholds of
at least 2 years of transformative impact in learning and teaching practice.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence
celebrates the many ways that our people go above and beyond to support
students, live our shared values, strengthen our communities and drive
innovation — all while helping to build a sustainable future for our
university. These awards are open to all staff across the university and TAFE, and
winners receive $2000 per category towards work-related activities including
professional development.
For those that missed the online celebration of our award
winners last week and the wonderful and inspiring stories from our award
winners, please enjoy this recording of the ceremony.
This is a moment to recognise and celebrate the excellence
that makes Federation truly special. Sincere and hearty congratulations to all
of our 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s award winners and commendation recipients.
Best wishes,
Duncan
