We're pleased to present a recording of our Breakfast with Fed talk, “Mental health, well-being and interpersonal relationships in the age of social media”, held Wednesday 25 August 2021.
The session saw our psychology academics share their mental health and well-being research with the community, government and industry.
It’s a particularly relevant topic, as we’re increasingly using social media to connect and interact with each other during these challenging times.
Thanks to our academics Dr George van Doorn, Dr Danielle Wagstaff, and Dr Evita March for their engaging presentations and to our guest speakers Cr Kellie O’Callaghan (Latrobe City Council), Jane Anderson (Latrobe Health Advocate), and Sandy Hegarty (Executive Officer at Latrobe Youth Space), for their insightful contributions to the panel discussion. Thanks also go to Associate Professor Kate Moore for her excellent work moderating the discussion and to all those who attended.
