We are excited to be hosting the
Menzies Foundation Oration tonight at our Mt Helen Campus from 6pm.
The interactive and live streamed event titled 'Do I have a future? A better deal for young people in Australia' will ignite discussion on the need for young people to be the priority for policy makers, unions, and business leaders when they gather for the national Jobs and Skills Summit in Canberra on 1 and 2 September.
Our Orator for the evening, Travers McLeod, Executive Director of the
Brotherhood of St Laurence, will ask critical questions about how we can rebuild hope with young people, so their education pays off, their work provides economic security and housing is more than a pipe dream. Travers will be joined by a panel of young people, including two Federation students, for an interactive discussion.
